Terms and Conditions for Participation in Psychoeducation Events

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in psychoeducational events (“Webinar”, “Workshop”, “Course”) provided by Novo CBT (“Provider”). By registering for or attending the Webinar, you (“Participant”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

2. Nature of the Event (Webinar/Workshop/Course)
2.1. The Psychoeducation Event (Webinar/Workshop/Course) is provided for educational purposes only.
2.2. The Event (webinar/workshop/course) does not constitute psychological therapy, counselling, or any form of clinical or medical treatment.
2.3. Participation in the Event (webinar/workshop/course) does not establish a therapist-client relationship between the Provider and the Participant.

3. Disclaimer of Responsibility
3.1. The Provider accepts no responsibility for emotional, psychological, or physical responses that may occur during or after the Event.
3.2. Any such reactions are entirely the responsibility of the Participant, who is encouraged to seek support from their own therapist or medical provider if needed.
3.3. The Provider is under no obligation to provide post-Event support or follow-up.

4. Voluntary Participation
4.1. Attendance is voluntary. Participants may leave the Event at any time.
4.2. Remaining in the Webinar confirms understanding and acceptance of these terms and the nature of the event.

5. Payment Terms and Registration
5.1. Payment must be received by the closing date of the registration category you registered under.
5.2. If payment is not received by that date, your registration will be moved to the next pricing category.
5.3. If payment is not received at least two (2) working days before the scheduled event, your registration will be cancelled.
5.4. Transfer of registration to another webinar is not permitted.

6. Time Zone
6.1. All webinars are scheduled in Irish local time (Dublin time).
6.2. Please note time zone differences if attending from outside Ireland. A link to a time zone converter will be provided with the registration confirmation.
6.3. The Provider is not responsible for miscalculations regarding time zone differences, and no refunds will be issued due to missed attendance caused by timing errors.

7. Access and Communication
7.1. A link to the Webinar and any associated handouts will be sent to the email address provided at registration, 48 hours before the event.
7.2. If you do not receive this email, please check your Junk or Spam folder.
7.3. If the link is still not received, contact us no later than 1 hour prior to the Webinar.
7.4. If you change your email address, it is your responsibility to notify us in advance to ensure delivery of Webinar details.

8. Technical Issues
8.1. The Provider will make all reasonable efforts to prevent and resolve any technical issues within their control.
8.2. Refunds will not be issued for technical issues on the attendee’s side, including poor internet connection, device failure, or compatibility problems.

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Webinars:

  • Cancellations must be made in writing.

  • No refunds will be issued after this date.

In-Person Workshops:

  • Cancellations must be made in writing.

  • A refund minus a €25 administration fee will be issued if received up to 10 business days prior to the workshop.

  • No refunds will be issued after this date.

10. Intellectual Property and Copyright
10.1. All Webinar recordings and materials are the intellectual property of [Your Business Name] and may not be copied, shared, or presented publicly or professionally without written permission.
10.2. Purchasing access to a Webinar constitutes an agreement to uphold all relevant copyright laws.

11. Event Changes and Cancellations by Provider
11.1. In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond our control require the cancellation or postponement of a Webinar or Workshop, we will reschedule as soon as practical.
11.2. You will be offered the option of a full refund or transfer to the new date.

12. Changes to Terms
The Provider reserves the right to change or update these Terms and Conditions and Webinar fees without prior notice.

13. Data Protection and Confidentiality
13.1. We comply with the EU GDPR and Irish Data Protection Acts.
13.2. Any information you share during the Event is at your discretion. The Provider is not responsible for any consequences related to such disclosures.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
